Open Water Diver Certification

The Open Water Diver course is the first scuba certification level. During the course you will learn the basic and most important principles and skills. A highly experienced PADI Instructor will be the whole duration of the course teaching you. First part of the course starts either in a pool or a confined beach walking in to the water slowly and practice the skills at depths to maximum 5m. Then when you are ready, comfortable and confident for the four open water dives gradually from 6 to 18m maximum of depth you complete your course.

At the end of the course you will have the knowledge and necessary skills to be a good diver and enjoy a new world

 
  • Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

  • Depth: expect shallow dives (12m/40ft), the maximum allowed depth is 18m/60ft

  • Minimum Age : 10 years old (Divers certified between the ages of 10-14 earn a Junior Diver certification)

    Children of 8 or older can try scuba diving in a pool (or pool-like environment).

  • Total 3 days +1 extra recommended to have spare:

    eLearning /Theory: 5-10 hours (can be done before your holidays arrival)

    Shallow part / practical skills - 1,5 days

    4 open water dives - last one to 18m max - 1,5 days (3 days all parts)

    1 day extra recommended to have spar for a break or additional practice in-between the course

  • PADI studying material has over 20 languages available for your preference.
